Berenice Marlohe

Berenice Lim Marlohe was born in France. Her most well-known work is her role as anti-heroine Bondgirl Severine in Skyfall, the 23rd James Bond movie. Her television credits include Pere et Maire Femmes de loi, and Equipe medicale d'urgence. The show she was in featured the French comedy Un joy n'arrive ever alone, alongside Sophie Marceau although not appearing in the credits. She is also an ambassador for the brand Omega Watches. Berenice who is French Chinese descent and Cambodian descent, was born on May 19th, 1979. She was born in Paris France. Born into a middle-class family with the Chinese and a Cambodian father while her mother's name is French. Her mother was a teacher while her father was a doctor. When she was a kid in Paris she was enthralled with art and spend the majority of her time playing the piano and painting images. Passionate about music and art dominated her and inspired both her career and dreams. The workshop of Jack Waltzer was the spark that ignited her career. It was there that she fell in love, with acting and it became her new passion. In the following years, she pursued her studies for ten years at Paris Conservatory. When she finished her school, she auditioned for movie roles. She was given her debut film role on the screen in The Discordance 2007 shortly after. At the beginning of the career path, she faced difficulty securing roles which would enhance her character. His presence in film proved to be influential. Many of the big actors and film producers that she spoke to ended up refusing her because of her lack of expertise.
